This year’s memorable evening will include a gala dinner followed by a remarkable program paying tribute to Achievement in Aviation Award recipient, Edward S. Trippe, Chairman of the Pan Am Historical Foundation, and the son of Juan Trippe, founder of Pan Am. Mr. Trippe’s efforts and the Foundation’s successes in preserving and sharing Pan Am’s important material culture have enabled a sustained scholarly interest in global air transport history as they have expanded public access and awareness of Pan Am’s pioneering role in commercial aviation. Ed Trippe’s career with Pan Am and his thirty years of leadership at the Pan Am Historical Foundation have added so much to the already legendary Trippe family legacy in commercial aviation. Proceeds from this year’s celebration will assist the Society in its mission to preserve the history of aviation through its support of the Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum’s education programs, and the purchase of aviation artifacts and ephemera.
We hope that you take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to support SFAS and enjoy a dynamic, exclusive evening with prestigious aviation leaders.
